The BK80L Trolley Saw has been designed with a block lifting principle to ensure maximum performance in marble cutting. The BK80L guarantees a precise measurement standard and cutting quality for the cut marble slabs. The robust blade frame enables each blade to be tensioned up to 12 tons. This frame operates in a fixed position and is actuated by two connecting rods on each leg. The block carrier trolley, fixed on a stationary platform, facilitates the cutting process by performing an upward movement towards the blades.

ROBUST PLATFORM: The movement of the platform is facilitated by four powerful screws. The movement of these screws is transferred to four vertical gearbox units through a central reducer group. The platform is supported by a system of four pre-tensioned slide rails. Two of these rails have a "V" prism shape, while the other two have a flat shape and their surfaces are covered with stainless steel plates that can be removed and replaced.

LARGE FLYWHEEL: The 9-ton flywheel with a diameter of 3.5 meters is mounted on a sturdy shaft with extremely precise tolerances and is connected to the blade frame by two connecting rods.

FAST AND FRICTIONLESS SLIDE SYSTEM: The connecting rods, made of a single piece of steel, are resistant to dynamic stresses due to the absence of welding in their production. The frame carrying the blades achieves its smooth linear motion through a simple articulated pendulum mechanism. This system, one of the machine's key features, allows the frame to operate more quickly, enabling fast and precise cutting. Additionally, this system provides energy savings through its frictionless slide structure.

LONG STROKE LENGTH: The most significant feature of the machine is the length of the saw cutting movement, which is 800 mm. The length of the cutting movement allows the quick removal of the marble slurry from the surface where the cutter contacts the stone, thus ensuring a higher cutting speed and prolonging the life of the cutter.

Moreover, the length of the cutting movement results in smoother and toothless cut surfaces, thereby saving energy, time, and abrasive materials during the subsequent polishing of the slabs.

FASTEST CUTTING MOVEMENT: The cutting movement per minute of the blade frame is 95 strokes, enabling the smooth cutting of fractured, irregular, and cracked blocks. The 800 mm cutting movement ensures the machine operates extremely smoothly, allowing the blocks to be cut only on wooden wedges without the need to lower them onto the trolley.

ELECTRONIC CONTROL SYSTEM: The machine is equipped with the latest electronic control system technology. The machine features a touch screen control panel and a PLC electronic control unit. The system provides the operator with information about machine malfunctions and alarms and allows for the preprogramming of cutting speed according to the characteristics of the block. When excessive cutting speeds beyond the capacity of the stone are set, the machine automatically reduces its speed.

Thanks to the sensors mounted on the BK80L machine, in case of emergencies resulting from the breaking of slabs during cutting, the flywheel system is automatically brought to a halt via an electronic system brake.

All electrical components used in the machine are selected from materials manufactured in accordance with EEC standards. The machine is equipped with a hydraulic blade tensioning unit as standard.
